The boy has been down with high fever for the past few days. It started on Wednesday...when the ils went to pick him up from IFC, they felt he was v warm. For some reason that baffles us, they did not tell us about it till we came home much much later. They had a nice new bottle of infant paracetamol sitting in their fridge but they did not think to tell us anything.....
Anyway, we came home and his temperature was 38.6 deg which shocked me cos he rarely even goes above 36 deg!!! He's usually such a cool boy....this was followed by constant feeding of paracetamol and sponging him throughout the night. His temperature would go down after taking the medicine but would shoot up again once the next dose is due. This continued till Friday afternoon when he finally stabilised back to below 37 deg. Phew.
On a positive side, Keston was pretty much his active talkative self despite the high fever. Thank God.

hi i think your boys is having virus fever..
it will go up and down for at least 5 days ...
just continue to feed him medicine even if he seems ok.
if 3 days fever still not ok, see a GP, usually they will give brufen. hope he gets well soon.
