Skinhead Keston

Baby K underwent the shaver yesterday and is now a very cool skinhead. Ok, scrap that, actually he looks really funny. But being kiasu parents, we went ahead and made the decision for him to shave it all for his full month. It's supposed to signify 圆满. We even chose to do IT on the 24th day to signify 二十四孝. I know, I know, so superstitious...but what the heck. You get just one try to make things right.

K was considerably 乖 when having his hair cut. He only got fussy when the hunger pangs hit. So the haircut became a 3-man job. HW having to carry him, me having to feed him and the hairdresser trying to shave him. It was quite a comical sight.

On Monday, we went to the polyclinic to get K's jaundice level checked out. Thankfully his jaundice level has gone down and the doc thinks it should be ok. Update on his stats at 3 weeks:
Weight = 3.865kg (+285grams since the previous week)
Length = 54cm (+4cm since birth)
Head Circumference = 35.3cm (+0.3cm since birth)
